Tadamo Translator Guardian Agreement

I am at least 18 and am the speaker's parent or legal guardian with authority to consent, and I agree that typing my matching full legal name is my electronic signature.

For live translation, the app streams the speaker's microphone audio directly to Microsoft Azure Speech with logging disabled; Tadamo does not store that live audio, and recognition can be wrong.

With training-audio retention enabled, Tadamo may store only recordings a person explicitly keeps and labels, for up to 24 months, and use them to create private per-speaker Azure Custom Speech datasets, models, and endpoints.

With StarSeeker recording import enabled, eligible prompted recordings for the same linked speaker may be copied into a private guardian-review queue. An imported take remains unapproved and cannot be used for training until a guardian plays the complete recording and approves it; recordings from another speaker are prohibited.

With voice output enabled, the speaker may manually choose Speak after reviewing a caption. Tadamo remains caption-only by default and may speak automatically only while this guardian permission is enabled and Tadamo has separately issued a current validation policy bound to the exact speaker and active personal model; this release issues no such automatic-output policy. With voice output disabled, no translation is synthesized as speech.

Draft captions, final captions, and any spoken interpretations never become training truth without later human review and labeling.

I can review, correct, exclude, or delete retained takes and learned patterns, revoke any permission, delete the speaker profile, or delete the guardian account in the app.

Revocation or deletion stops new access immediately and queues retained audio, imported copies, datasets, models, and endpoints for deletion, with 30 days as the outside completion limit.

Tadamo does not sell child data, show ads, train a public or cross-family speech model, or send child speech to a general-purpose generative AI provider.

Tadamo is a communication-accessibility tool, not a medical device, diagnosis, therapy, emergency service, or substitute for human judgment.

I have reviewed the Children's Privacy Notice, Data Retention and Destruction Schedule, and AI and Automatic-Output Disclosure presented with this agreement; optional learning and voice choices are voluntary, and the offline phrase board remains available if I decline them.
