Written schedule, version 2
Data retention and destruction schedule.
Last updated 2026-07-13. Applies to the Tadamo private family preview; it will be revised and re-noticed before any family outside the developer's own uses the app.
Schedule
| Data | Retention | Deletion trigger |
|---|---|---|
| Live Talk audio | Processed for the live recognition request; not added to the learning corpus unless a separate consented recording upload occurs. | End of the request. |
| Text exchange history and phrase context | While the child profile exists. | Entry, child-profile, or family-account deletion. |
| Consented learning recordings | Until consent revocation/deletion, and no longer than 24 months from recording. | Guardian deletion, retention or import revocation, 24-month expiry, child deletion, or account deletion. |
| Personalized datasets and models | Tied to the consented recordings used to build them. | Underlying-consent revocation, child deletion, or account deletion. |
| Signed consent events | While the family account exists, including grant/deny/revoke history. | Family-account deletion, subject to any legally required minimum record. |
How deletion runs
An hourly service processes expiry and guardian-deletion queues. Storage objects are deleted before their database paths are cleared. A child or family deletion is not marked complete while a provider artifact is still recorded. Deletion begins immediately and is designed to complete within 30 days; transient failures remain queued and visible for retry rather than being reported as complete.
Personalized provider datasets/models are not activated until their provider-deletion integration is operational and verified. Backups expire on the provider's protected rotation schedule.
