Help for grown-ups using Tadamo.

Account and sign-in

• Use the same adult email address used for the family's StarSeeker account.
• If a speaker already exists, select that speaker instead of creating another profile. Tadamo hides archived duplicate profiles from the normal family view.
• If paid access already exists, use Refresh existing access instead of buying another subscription.

Subscription and billing

• On iPhone and iPad, Tadamo uses Apple's native purchase sheet when StoreKit products are available.
• Apple subscriptions can be viewed or canceled in Apple's subscription settings.
• Web subscriptions are handled by Stripe. Deleting a Tadamo account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.
• A free, sandbox, or TestFlight transaction never counts as parental-verification payment evidence.

Speech and recording setup

• Plan about 15–20 minutes for the first setup, with breaks whenever the speaker wants one.
• Start in a quiet room and keep the device about 8–12 inches from the speaker.
• Each recording-game phrase is spoken aloud before the Record control becomes available.
• Grown-ups can change how long Tadamo waits through each speaker's pauses. A shorter setting can feel faster but may stop too early; the speaker can always tap Stop.
• Tadamo can be wrong. Review captions before choosing Speak, and do not rely on Tadamo for emergency or safety-critical communication.

Privacy, recordings, and deletion

Read the children's privacy notice, AI disclosure, retention schedule, and terms of service.

A guardian can review, correct, exclude, or delete retained recordings; revoke optional permissions; delete a speaker profile; or request family-account deletion from the app.
